Cut & stitched in the East End
Full-grain bags and wallets, made one at a time on Navigation Boulevard. No glue in the seams, no plastic lining.
This month
Two markets a month downtown, plus the workshop is open by appointment on Fridays if you'd rather come to us.

What we make
What you see at the market is what we have. Custom colours take about three weeks.
Holds six cards and folded cash
Eight card slots, one for bills
Phone, keys, sunglasses, not much more
Fits a 14" laptop with room to spare
Brass buckles, padded straps
Initials are stamped free while you wait, usually in about ten minutes.
The maker
My grandfather made saddles in Monterrey. I didn't pick up a knife until I was thirty-two, when I wanted a work bag and couldn't afford the one I liked.
That first bag took me a month. Now a crossbody takes about two days, most of it stitching by hand at the bench in my garage.
I'm at the tent every market, so the person you ask about the leather is the person who cut it.
Our promise
Bring any Suela piece to a market or the workshop and we'll restitch it for free, no receipt needed. Buckles and zippers get replaced at cost.
Want something made to order? Text a photo of what you have in mind and we'll send back a price the same day.
