Where it comes from
Twice a year we drive down and buy in person. We pay what the families ask, and we don't haggle.
That's also why we sometimes run out. When the mugs are gone, the next batch is about four months away.
Come see it
Talavera looks better in person, and you'll want to hold the bags. Look for the blue tablecloth.

La familia
I grew up in Puebla, three streets from a Talavera workshop. When I moved to Houston in 1999, the thing I missed most was the colour.
Casa Azulejo started with one suitcase of mugs for friends in 2016. Now it's me at the table on weekends, and my daughters Ana and Lucía doing the Instagram. Also the lifting.
Carmen
Text us a budget and who it's for. We'll pick something and wrap it in papel picado, then mail it anywhere in the US.
